Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) is a systematic, timely and effective crisis intervention approach that aims to minimize the psychological trauma and negative impact that the employee experienced. This intervention approach, as founded in US, is widely used locally in situations involving death, disaster, violence, etc., and has gained its evidence to its effectiveness.
