“Games are very important to children. Toys are their words and games are their languages,” an American psychologist once pointed out. Through games, children express their thoughts and ideas. Unlike adults, they do not have enough words or insights to get their worries off their chest directly when they encounter any emotional issues or frustrations. Instead, it is usually through various behaviours, social issues or even physical discomfort can children express their thoughts. Clinical researches show that game therapy can assist children to relieve their emotions and improve social and behavioural problems.
